I was pleasantly surprised this morning when at around 9am the wind started to pick up. I soon headed off to the estaury and was probably on the water around 9.30am. Stevebus and his friend turned up as I was rigging, but took ages to actually get on the water and join me.

I was nicley powerd up with my 6.3 and just cruising around the estuary. I was sailing pretty well with some nice smooth carve gybes and some fast snappy tacks. Nothing else exciting though as there wasn't much chop and not really enough wind to go for anything.

The wind dropped off around 11.30am and I soon came in and packed up. Anna then walked to the beach and we sat there for a while watching Derek, Mike and another kitesurfer who had now arrived at the beach. there was only just enough wind for them by this time though... Although as I'm sat here writing this is seems to have picked up again.
